Pay for Hosting with Tether (USDT)
Pay for ChainVPS hosting with Tether (USDT) — a dollar-pegged stablecoin that keeps your top-up amount steady from send to credit, with no exchange-rate drift while the network confirms.
Network
Tron TRC-20 / Ethereum ERC-20
Privacy
Transparent
Network fees
Low to variable, depending on chain: Tron (TRC-20) transfers are typically well under a dollar, while Ethereum (ERC-20) fees vary with network congestion and can run from a couple of dollars to much higher during busy periods. Choose the network your wallet supports and that matches the fee you want to pay.
Settlement
Usually credited within minutes once the network confirms; Tron (TRC-20) generally settles faster than Ethereum (ERC-20).
Paying with Tether (USDT)
Tether (USDT) is a stablecoin designed to hold a value of one US dollar, issued across several blockchains — most commonly Tron (TRC-20) and Ethereum (ERC-20). Because its price does not swing like Bitcoin or Ether, the number of USDT you send is very close to the balance that lands on your account, which makes it convenient for funding a prepaid hosting balance.
Privacy: USDT is a transparent asset, not a private one. Every transfer is recorded on a public blockchain (Tron or Ethereum) where amounts and addresses are permanently visible, and Tether the issuer can freeze addresses. Paying with USDT does not hide your transaction — if privacy is your priority, a private-by-default coin like Monero is a better fit.
Best for: Anyone who wants a stable, dollar-pegged top-up amount that won't drift in value while the payment confirms, and who is comfortable using a public, transparent blockchain.
How it works
Top up in four steps
- 1
Choose USDT at checkout
On your ChainVPS top-up screen, select Tether (USDT) and pick the network you'll send from — Tron (TRC-20) for low fees, or Ethereum (ERC-20) if that's what your wallet holds. Enter the top-up amount you want to add to your balance.
- 2
Get the payment address
ChainVPS displays a USDT deposit address (and a QR code) for the exact network you selected. Only send USDT on that same network — sending on a different chain, or sending a different token to the address, can lose the funds.
- 3
Send from your wallet
Open your non-custodial wallet, choose USDT on the matching network, paste or scan the address, and send the shown amount. Keep a little of the network's native coin (TRX for Tron, ETH for Ethereum) on hand to cover the transfer fee.
- 4
Wait for the auto-credit
Once the network confirms the transfer, your ChainVPS balance is topped up automatically and your services draw from it. No account verification or ID is required.

Questions
Paying with Tether (USDT) — FAQ
Which network should I use — TRC-20 or ERC-20?
Both are supported. Tron (TRC-20) is usually the cheapest and fastest option, so it's the common pick for topping up. Use Ethereum (ERC-20) only if that's the network your wallet or exchange sends from. Always send on the exact network shown at checkout — the address is network-specific.
Is paying with USDT private?
No. USDT is transparent: every payment is recorded on a public blockchain where the amount and addresses stay visible forever, and the issuer can freeze addresses. It's convenient and stable, but it is not private. If you need privacy, consider paying with Monero instead.
Will the amount I send match my balance credit?
Because USDT is pegged to the US dollar, the amount you send stays stable in value while the transaction confirms, so your credited balance closely matches what you sent — minus only the small network fee your wallet pays to move it. Your balance updates automatically once the network confirms.
