Acceptable Use Policy

We are content-neutral by design. This policy is short on purpose: a small, honest list of what is genuinely not allowed — and nothing performative beyond it.

Última actualización July 6, 2026

ChainVPS does not inspect your traffic and does not act as anyone's enforcement arm. We host in privacy-friendly jurisdictions precisely so that lawful-but-unpopular projects have a home.

Our stance

Content-neutral

We do not police the lawful content you host, and we do not scan your disks or your packets.

DMCA-resistant

We do not process US-style DMCA takedown notices against content lawfully hosted in our privacy-tier jurisdictions.

Privacy-tier jurisdictions

Our core locations are chosen for strong legal protection and real friction against fishing-expedition requests.

Due process only

We respond to valid, binding legal orders from a competent authority — not to unverified complaints or private pressure.

What is never allowed

This is the hard line. It exists to protect people and the network itself, and it is not negotiable regardless of jurisdiction.

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Zero tolerance, no exceptions, reported and terminated.
  • Attacks on third-party networks or systems — DDoS origination, intrusion, port-scanning campaigns, credential stuffing.
  • Distribution of malware or operation of botnet command-and-control aimed at victims.
  • Unsolicited bulk email (spam) and the tooling that supports it.
  • Fraud that directly harms third parties — phishing kits, carding operations, account-takeover services.
  • Anything that threatens the stability, reputation or IP space of the ChainVPS network for other customers.

Everything on that list has real victims or attacks the network itself. That is the whole test. Lawful, controversial, or adult content is not on it.

Network health

  • No sustained activity that degrades service for other customers on shared infrastructure.
  • Outbound abuse (spam, attacks) triggers rate-limiting or suspension of the offending service, not blanket account seizure.
  • Resource use must stay within the plan you purchased; abuse of "unmetered" to run deliberate network-saturation attacks is not covered.

Reporting abuse

Genuine abuse of the categories above can be reported to [email protected]. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. We verify before we act, and we do not suspend services on the strength of an unverified complaint.

How we handle valid orders

When we are legally bound to act, we act narrowly — on the specific service named, producing only the minimal data we actually hold, which is deliberately close to nothing. See our legal & jurisdiction page for details.
